+At Nave Self Storage, how many units do you have and what range of storage sizes do you offer?

We are a small and locally owned facility with 328 units ranging in size from 5×5 to 10×20.


+What are your hours of operation?

We are open 7 days a week.  We close on the major holidays.

Mondays:  10am to 6pm
Tuesday through Friday:  8:30am to 6pm
Sat & Sun: 9am to 5pm


+Can you help answer questions about storage problems, storage supplies, movers, truck rentals, etc.?

We have been at this location since 2001 and hopefully can answer all your questions and concerns about availability of local services and vendors. We are happy to try and help you settle into a new area or just give advice concerning your storage needs.


+What are my actual move in costs?

Being small and locally owned, we simplify the move in process. We have no hidden fees or administrative charges. We will prorate the remaining days left in the month based on your move in date. Thereafter, all rents fall due on the 1st of each month. A minimum stay of 30 days is required. Unlike most facilities, we only require a 14 day notice to vacate, not 30. And, you are allowed to vacate mid month… and you will receive a refund for unused rent provided we receive our 14 day “NTV”.


+Will my stuff be safe at Nave Self Storage?

Being that most of our units are indoors, access to the facility is not possible except during hours of operation. The building is fully alarmed and monitored by Bay Alarm. Units have individual sprinkler protection.


+Do I need insurance for my property?

Check with your home owners or renters’ insurance carrier to see if your stored property is covered by your policy. If you find that you want specialized insurance, we can provide you with a name of an insurance carrier that specializes in self storage insurance.


+What can’t I store at NSS?

Common sense and state laws determine what can be stored. Since you alone have access to your space, do not store anything that needs a controlled environment. This would include live animals and plants, explosive or flammable items, toxic materials, food or liquids. Do not tempt unwanted critters with food, candles, dried flowers or your favorite sweater.


+How do I prevent damage from pests?

We use an exterminator who inspects and services our facility on a regular basis. Our staff can also provide you with specific packing tips to ensure that your property will not be damaged.
